“Peanut” was Mayra Estrada’s debut short film. The film follows an accountant, who encounters an unusual creature in his office. The film is stop-motion animation, and was written, directed, animated, edited, and produced by Estrada. The film premiered at SXSW’s 2022 Film Festival and has screened at several festivals including Pegasus Film Festival and Iowa Independent Film Festival.
